As part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service organization in the world, we embrace the mission of serving where we live while fostering friendship and collaboration among members.One of our most beloved programs is “Flags Over Anamosa and Martelle,” a signature fundraiser that brings our community together in celebration of national pride. Through this program, we place flags in subscribers’ yards for six major holidays each year. Not only does this initiative beautify our towns, but it also supports our efforts to fund local projects and provide assistance to those in need. From scholarships and vision screenings to supporting youth programs and addressing hunger, every flag symbolizes a commitment to building a stronger, more vibrant community.By joining the Anamosa Lions Club, members become part of a proud tradition of service while helping to shape the future of our community.
